Dr. Longhui Gao’s passion for dentistry began long before dental school. Growing up in a small village in China, he had limited access to dental care and personally experienced the impact that oral health can have on a person’s quality of life. After receiving extensive dental treatment himself, he was inspired by the compassionate dental care he received, leading him to pursue a career dedicated to helping others achieve healthy, confident smiles.
Dr. Gao earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where he was one of only four students selected to receive the Dean’s Scholarship for Leadership & Excellence. He was also inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society and the Gorgas Odontological Honorary Society in recognition of his academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to the profession. He then completed a General Practice Residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network, where he received advanced training in comprehensive dental care, including restorative dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, dental implants, and the treatment of medically complex patients.
Dr. Gao is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. Having experienced firsthand the difference that quality dental care can make, he strives to build trusting relationships with his patients, educate them about their oral health, and help them achieve healthy, confident smiles that last a lifetime. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Gao enjoys traveling, reading, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
